Insurance found me at fault because the other guy claimed he signaled and it became his word against mine. Thank god for accident forgiveness, but I’ll have to try fixing the damage myself (hahahahahahahaha). The dents aren’t really fixable, but the marks should buff out. Yay for plastic Kawasakis. In other news, I sealed up a couple leaks in the Civic’s exhaust and I now have the world’s quietest car. I had it running while I adjusted the throttle stop then I closed the hood and went to wash my hands, sat down in the car, and tried to start an already-running vehicle because it was so quiet I had no idea it was running .

I don’t have comprehensive, just basic collision, so my insurance doesn’t cover *any* of the repairs to my car. Also we both have Progressive, and I guarantee he’s paying more for his insurance than I am, making him a more valuable customer. The cops were never called because it was 100 degrees out in the middle of nowhere and I had no A/C so, basically, fuck that. I’m kinda boned here.

That sucks that the insurance is the same. Even with just basic liability, they somehow got Geico to pay. It was the first time I have ever felt that shitty insurance company mostly paid up what was due, which they never do.

Have them look at the left turn signal bulb. If he was signaling, the filament would have been hot and stretched during the impact. Cold filaments shatter in a wreck.
